It’s February: the weather is still cold, the days are short, and most of us are counting down the days until summer. While we wait for the warm summer months, why not enjoy amazing brunches at some of Ocean City’s favorite local restaurants. Brunch is my favorite meal of the day, but don’t just take my word for it, after asking @iloveocnj on Instagram what their favorite brunch spots were we compiled this delicious list of mouth- watering restaurants that is making me hungry just writing about them. Below you will find eight of your fellow OCNJ lovers favorite brunch year-round spots:
1. Sunrise Cafe:

2. Varsity Inn:
Varsity Inn is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch, which is why it’s one of our favorite brunch spots. For breakfast try their delicious Varsity Original or any of their pancakes! For lunch, you have to try their baked Jersey tomato soup, and trust us, you will become obsessed! Located at 605 E 8th St.

3. Ready’s Coffee Shop & Restaurant:
Located at 415 E 8th St., you can get amazing food with even better service! Some recommendations are: the omelettes, chicken salad sandwich (a must try), and make sure to grab a side of their delicious fries (some of my favorites on the island)!

Soma is a cute restaurant located at 825 Asbury Avenue, offering a wide range of delicious healthy food. Their unique menu, positive atmosphere, and delectable locally-sourced ingredients all come together to make the dream brunch. If you haven’t tried them out yet, I highly recommend you do soon! They will be closed February 11th-March 6th

Yianni’s is an island favorite by all! Besides their amazing bagels, customers are in love with their warm pita bread & hummus, moussaka, and burgers! My personal favorite dish there is the oriental chicken salad. They are located at 841 Asbury Avenue.
