Currently not planning on being here? We think that that should change: from the surfing festival, contest, and exciting shows, this is a week you definitely don’t want to miss.

Monday July 29th

Beach Workout hosted by the Aquatic & Fitness Center

Stop on by to the 6th Street Beach to get a little exercise to start your week off right. Hosted by the Aquatic & Fitness Center, you can have a killer workout to whip yourself back into shape one session at a time!

Time: 8:00am-9:00am

JON ANDERSON of YES

Jon Anderson, the lead vocalist and creative force behind the band YES, will be performing with an all-star band at the Ocean City Music Pier!

Time: 7pm

Tuesday July 30th

Funtastic Tuesdays

Watch Asbury Avenue come to life as you’re greeted by musicians, face painters, balloon sculptures and even a man on stilts! Make sure to shop ‘til you drop with some great entertainment from 10am – 1pm on Asbury Ave.

Mummers Night

Head on down  to the boardwalk in the evening to see amazing entertainment by the mummers! Watch them strut up and down the boardwalk from 7pm to 9pm in between 6th and 14th streets. 

Beach Walks

Explore one of Ocean City’s less discovered treasures at the South End of the island at Corson’s Inlet State Park. Bring family and friends to indulge on this heavenly stroll.

Time: 9am
Location: 59th St. & Central Ave., (Entrance to Corsons Park) 
Price: Tickets can be purchased on-site for: Adults $1.00 Children $.50

Fun Runs (Short & Kids Distances)

Get in a little sprint, jog, or a “fast” walk as some might call it at 6:00pm, Carey Field, 6th & Atlantic Ave. This event is open to all ages and what’s the best part? It’s FREE! Bring a friend and get in shape!

Children’s Theatre Series: How I Became A Pirate presented by the Ocean City Theatre Company

The whole family will love this musical! Bring friends and family to the Ocean City Music Pier and watch as a band of pirates lands at North Beach looking for an expert digger to join their group!

Wednesday July 31st 

Farmer’s Market

Shop LOCAL at the Tabernacle Grounds from 8am – 1pm at the farmer’s market! Buy incredible produce from fresh peaches to artisan cuisine. On your way out grab a cup of cold brew from the Drip ‘n’ Scoop stand. Crafters will be in between 5th and 6th streets on Asbury Avenue.

Participants will receive a “mystery bag” filled with random objects! Your mission is to create a beautiful piece of art using everything in your bag! The contest is free to enter but it is only limited to 150 participants.This event is open to all ages.

Time: 10:30am at the Ocean City Music Pier

Twins Contest

Do you have a twin?! Come on down to the Music Pier to potentially win a prize! Prizes for those who look the most and least alike. This contest is free to enter and registration begins at 5:30pm. The contest begins at 6:00pm. This event is open to all ages.

Thursday August 1st

Ocean City Fishing Club Open House

Come on down to the Fishing Club, located at 14th & Boardwalk from 6:00pm- 8:00 pm for an open house! Visitors are asked to bring non-perishable food items or make a cash donation to benefit the Ocean City Food Cupboard. 

At the first open house in July, they collected 82 pounds of food and $200 in cash for the Food Cupboard! Let’s break that record on Thursday! 

Sand Sculpting Contest

The second sand sculpting contest is here! The contest begins at 9:00am at 6th Street Beach! Judging takes place by 11:00am. Registration is free for this event.

19th Annual Art of Surfing (Thursday August 1st – Saturday August 3rd)

This event is FREE for the entire family! Located at the Ocean City Music Pier, the event features original artwork from surfing’s biggest names, live music and appearances by artists from all over the country!  

Market Days

Family Nights

Step on down to the boardwalk from 7:30pm to 9:30pm on streets 6th-14th for some great entertainment and games that will be unforgettable memories that will be cherished for a lifetime! Some entertainment that you can see are singers, musicians and even yo-yo contests.

Historic Inn Tours

Each tour is different for you to get the maximum knowledge of this beautiful island of Ocean City, NJ. Join a guided tour as you go to four different historic sites on the island, ranging from the Flanders Hotel to even a sight-seeing tour of the historic district. Pick-up is at 7th & Central Ave.

Time: 2pm-4pm
Price: $14 per person

57th Annual Boardwalk Art Show (Friday August 2nd – Sunday August 4th)

Artistically from all over the East Coast will be up and down the boardwalk exhibiting and selling their work! The artwork is exquisite and usually reasonably priced!

Hours: Fri. & Sat. 10am – 8pm, Sun. 10am – 6pm

JERSEY BOYS & GIRLS

This is certainly a concert that you won’t want to miss out on! Head on down to the Ocean City Music Pier to celebrate a night filled with honoring some of the greatest artists from Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Frankie Valli, Whitney Houston, Dionne Warwick, Lesley Gore, and so many more. 

Time: 7:30pm
Price: Tickets $30/25.
