October in Ocean City just got a whole lot better! Why? Halloween is right around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited to share with you the plans that Ocean City has for the holiday….
One of the best holidays is finally here: Halloween! Whether you’re trick or treating or sneaking a few pieces from those who trick or treated, Halloween is a fun holiday that everyone can enjoy! We are so lucky to be able to spend Halloween weekend in Ocean City, New Jersey!
From the Halloween parade to trick or treating, Asbury Avenue is sure to make your holidays a memorable one!

Thursday, October 24th:
The Halloween Parade will take place on Asbury Avenue between 6th and 11th streets! This parade begins at 7:15pm and is definitely an event that you and the family don’t want to miss! This parade is sponsored by the Ocean City Exchange Club.
OC Coffee Co:
Ocean City Coffee Co and free hot chocolate?! Free? Yes! You read that right! Ocean City Coffee Co. will be giving out free cups of hot chocolate during the Halloween parade on Thursday

Saturday, October 26th:
The fun doesn’t stop at the parade! On Saturday, October 26th, there will be trick or treating up and down Asbury Avenue! Make sure that you bring the family out to Asbury Avenue in between 1-4pm so that they can get a head start on that candy collection we all know you’re ecstatic about.

Drip N Scoop:
One of your favorite donut, coffee, and ice cream shops just got a whole lot sweeter! They will be handing out little packs with coupons for free coffee and donuts inside! It definitely is not an opportunity you want to miss out on! Make sure to try some of their fall flavors, including their pumpkin spiced and Halloween themed donuts!

Bowfish Kids:
Bowfish Kids will be hosting their annual Halloween Bash on October 26th during trick or treating on Asbury Avenue! Kids can decorate pumpkins, and participate in their Halloween costume contest! This is a great opportunity to take a break from walking up and down Trick or Treating and have some fun!
There will be:
- 1-An annual costume photo contest where you could win a $50 GIFT CARD
- 2- Pumpkin Decorating
- 3- TREATS!

Rauhausers:
They will be extending their hours on the 24th and remain open during the parade. They will be making their hand dipped apples in four varieties: candy red, caramel, caramel nut, and caramel covered in milk or dark chocolate! Our mouths are watering just thinking about those dipped apples! They will also be handing out candy for the downtown trick or treating on the 26th.

The Beachin Bakery
They will be open for the parade with lots of goodies and hot cocoa! They will be open on weekends as long as foot traffic hold up and they’ll definitely be here for downtown trick or treating!

Jon & Patty’s
One of Ocean City’s favorite brunch and dinner eateries will be also be participating in the Halloween spirit! Jon & Patty’s will be giving out candy between 2-4pm on Halloween and they will be open for dinner during the Halloween parade! Make sure to try some of their Halloween special drinks like their Grave Digger flavored with chocolate and cookie dough or their Peep A Boo flavored with toasted marshmallow and vanilla!

Seagrass Boutique
One of your favorite boutiques on Asbury Avenue will be participating during Trick or Treating! They we will be handing out candy and clothing will be 20% off! Sweets and shopping?! The best of both worlds!

Friday November 1st & Saturday November 2:
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS:
Little Shop Of Horrors, a Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi musical, has been a crowd favorite for over 30 years. The same creators of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin have created this masterpiece.This amazing show will be presented by the OCTC Junior Company. It is presented with permission from MTI Shows (mtishows.com). The performances start at 7:30pm.
