Every year Ocean City hosts the OCNJ Spring Block Party to celebrate kicking-off the season. This annual tradition awakens the entire neighborhood from a winter slumber and brings families out onto Asbury Avenue. Whether you live in Ocean City, have a second home, vacation on the island every year, or simply love visiting from near and far, the block party is the best way to get excited about the spring and summer season. From 6th to 14th Street, Asbury Avenue transforms into a walkway lined with tents, booths, and vendors. There’s tons of food, shopping, and free samples for everyone. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. you can spend the day downtown and try out the awesome restaurants on Asbury Ave.
